  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.: LWV-SHR Business Meeting
  • 4:30 to 5 p.m.: Social and "Books at the Bar" with books on food issues for sale from ODU Book Store
  • 5 to 6 p.m.:: Program: "We Are What We Eat - The Politics of Food" with speakers Bev Sell, Manager of Five Points Farmers Market on Church Street in Norfolk, and Lynn Earle, Nutritionist
  • 6 p.m:. Soup and Salad Supper featuring fresh and locally grown foods such as peanut soup, chilled summer soup, tomato-basil salad, beet salad, strawberry salad, Hanover green salad, free-range chicken and pea salad.
